QHHT Frequently Asked Questions
Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique® (QHHT®) is a method of hypnosis developed by Dolores Cannon. It is designed to help people access their subconscious mind, revisit significant past experiences, and connect with their Higher Self for insight and healing. Many clients describe visiting past lives, though some explore experiences in this lifetime or beyond. The process can offer clarity on personal questions and, in some cases, support emotional or physical healing.
In a QHHT® session, clients are guided into a deep state of hypnosis. From there, they may recall past human lives, lives as other beings, or even experiences in non-earthly realms. The session then invites the client’s Higher Self, the part of consciousness that holds broader awareness and wisdom, to come forward. This connection can provide guidance, understanding, and healing related to challenges in the present.
Traditional hypnosis is often used to support behavior changes or promote relaxation. QHHT®, on the other hand, is centered on accessing the subconscious and spiritual dimensions of the mind. In a QHHT® session, clients may revisit past lives and connect with their Higher Self, opening the door to deeper insight, healing, and personal guidance.
QHHT® can help you access deeper levels of awareness to gain clarity, release emotional or physical blockages, and connect with your Higher Self. Many clients experience insight, healing, and a greater sense of peace, while also expanding self-awareness and perspective. Each session is unique and designed to support personal growth and transformation.
A QHHT® session begins with a conversation about your goals before guiding you into a deeply relaxed state, similar to daydreaming. In this state, you remain aware and able to communicate while exploring past lives or meaningful experiences and connecting with your Higher Self.
Clients often describe feeling calm, peaceful, and deeply relaxed. Some notice sensations like warmth, heaviness, or a sense of time distortion, while others experience emotional release or powerful insights. Each session is unique, and afterward you’ll have the opportunity to review your experience and learn how to integrate it into your life.
Yes, hypnosis is completely safe. It feels much like deep relaxation or meditation, and you remain aware the whole time. Not everyone sees a past life; some people receive symbolic images, guidance from their Higher Self, or simply focus on healing. Even if you feel you’re “not deep enough,” the process still works. Every session is unique, and I’ll guide you gently throughout.
Yes, past or present traumatic experiences may surface, but the process is gentle and guided by your Higher Self. Only what you are ready to face will come forward, and it will be presented in a way that supports healing, understanding, and closure.
Many clients experience emotional release, clarity, or even physical improvements such as feeling lighter or more energized. While healing is possible, specific outcomes can’t be guaranteed. The Higher Self brings forward what is most beneficial for you.
No. QHHT® is not a substitute for professional medical or psychological care. It can complement traditional therapies by supporting self-exploration and promoting healing on a deeper, holistic level.
To get the most out of your session, come well-rested, wear comfortable clothing, and bring an open mind. Prepare a list of questions you’d like to ask your Higher Self, these may relate to health, relationships, career, or life purpose, and email them to me ahead of time so I can bring a printed copy.
Since sessions last several hours and usually begin in the morning, have a good breakfast with enough protein to keep you full, but avoid heavy meals right before we start. Please also avoid alcohol, cannabis, or gummies, and limit caffeine so your body feels calm and relaxed. Gentle practices like meditation can help you prepare to enter deep relaxation more easily.
After the session, it’s a good idea to set aside quiet time for yourself to process the experience, let your energy settle, and reflect on the insights you received.
Bring a typed list of questions you’d like to ask your Higher Self, or email me that so I can print it for you. It’s also a good idea to bring water and a light snack to help you feel grounded afterward.
You’re welcome to ask about anything that matters to you—life purpose, health, relationships, career, past lives, or personal challenges. Most clients prepare around 20–25 questions, prioritized so the most important ones are answered first. I’ll provide a sample list in advance to help you create your own.
Yes! The quality of your session depends a lot on your openness and willingness to engage. Here are some helpful tips:
- Trust the first thing that comes to mind. Whether it’s a word, image, or feeling, don’t overthink it—just share it.
- Describe in detail. When asked what you see or sense, the more detail you give, the clearer the experience becomes.
- Stay open and curious. Your intuition often speaks in subtle ways, and it may feel like your own thoughts at first. Trust the process and allow it to flow.
- Keep talking. The more you share, the easier it is to deepen the connection and receive meaningful insights.
With a relaxed mind, curiosity, and openness, your session will unfold in the way that’s most beneficial for you.
Choose loose, comfortable clothing that allows you to relax fully. Since you’ll be reclining during the hypnosis portion, it’s best to avoid anything tight or restrictive.
A full QHHT® session usually lasts between 4 to 6 hours. It includes three parts: a pre-hypnosis interview, the hypnosis itself (typically around 2.5 hours), and a post-session review. Because each client’s process is unique, sessions can sometimes run longer, so it’s best to set aside the full time to ensure a relaxed and thorough experience.
Most clients remember much, if not all, of their session. While in the deeply relaxed state, it can sometimes feel dreamlike, similar to recalling a vivid dream. You’ll remain aware of what’s happening, though details may fade afterward. To support your integration, the hypnosis portion of the session is recorded and shared with you, so you can revisit it in your own time and continue to gain insights.
Many clients find that one QHHT® session provides the clarity, healing, and guidance they were seeking. For some, this is enough. Others choose to return for follow-up sessions when new questions arise, circumstances change, or they wish to explore deeper levels of their soul experiences.
There is no set number of sessions. It really depends on your personal goals and how much you’d like to uncover. Each session is unique, and you are welcome to come back as often as feels right for you.
For your comfort and privacy, QHHT® sessions are best experienced one-on-one. Attending alone allows you to relax fully and focus without distraction. Your session will remain completely confidential, and you’ll receive a recording to review afterward.
Yes, you’ll return to a normal waking state after the session, and it is safe to drive. If you’d feel more comfortable arranging transportation, you are welcome to do so.
After your session, it’s common to feel peaceful, clear, and more connected with yourself. You’ll also receive a recording of the hypnosis portion so you can revisit the guidance and insights that came through.
The healing process often continues in the days and weeks that follow. To support integration, give yourself time to rest, avoid overstimulation, and engage in gentle self-care like journaling, meditation, or a warm bath. It’s best to hold off on making major decisions right away—allow the experience to settle naturally. Listening to your recording the next day can deepen your understanding and help the benefits unfold over time.
No, QHHT® sessions are only offered in person. This approach is important for both the safety and effectiveness of the process. Dolores Cannon’s organization does not support or authorize QHHT® sessions conducted online.
